All games will be played under USA Hockey guidelines.

All games will be seventy-five minutes in length, with the exception of Mites which will be 60 minutes.

First and second periods will be twelve minute stop time. Third period will be one-half the time remaining in the 75 or 60 minute game, stop time.

If at any point during a league game the two team participating accumulate a combination of seventeen (17) penalties the clock will become running time for the remainder of the game. In the third period if at any point the goal differential becomes seven goals or more the clock will become running time until such time as the game reverts to a six goal or less differential.

Any team that fails to appear for a scheduled game (with the exception of an emergency) will be given losses for said games in the league standings with no opportunity to reschedule games unless previously approved by a majority of the CFHL Board of Directors.

Any player receiving a penalty during a CFHL League game that warrants a game suspension must sit the suspension in their teams next CFHL League game, if their team plays any USA Hockey game prior to their next league game they must also sit that game to satisfy USA Hockey rules.
