| Preparations for the Central Florida Hockey League (CFHL) 2011 Spring Season for age divisions Mite through Midget are underway. Upon receipt of a minimum of four applications for teams in a USA Hockey youth hockey classification, a league division for that age will be established and guaranteed a 10 game season.
Games will begin the weekend of April 9 and 10 and conclude the weekend of June 25 and 26.
All games will be played at the seven participating arenas: Brandon, Ellenton, Germain, Kissimmee, RDV, Clearwater Ice Arena, and TBSA, on a two game per day, every other weekend format.
The cost for the 10-game season will be $3,550 per team except for Mites with games being 75-minute curfew games plus an ice resurface. The cost includes a 10-game schedule, referees, scorekeepers and administrative costs.
The cost for Mites is $2,900 for the 10 game schedule due to the fact that games are 60 minutes in length plus a resurface.
All age divisions except mites will be broken into two divisions. You may register for “A” or “AA” with “AA” being the stronger. You will play against only teams in the division you register for. There will not be a Midget U-16 division.
Applications for team registrations must be submitted on the enclosed application form, accompanied by a check for the entire season fees to the hockey director at the participating arena your team practices at.
In the event you do not practice at a participating arena your application and non-refundable check for season fees made out to TBSA should be sent to TBSA c/o Allan Hunter, 255 Forest Lakes Blvd. N., Oldsmar, Fl. 34677. If for any reason four teams do not apply for any division all monies sent in for that division will be refunded in full.
Applications and checks must be received on or before Saturday, March 19, 2011 to be eligible for the spring season.
A member of the league board of directors must receive from each team by March 19, 2011 the following.
- A typed roster (Click Here to download) including players full name and jersey number.
